Lazer Beams: Israel's Chanuka Message to the World: We're not Budging

“We have not taken foreign territory or any alien property, but have occupied our ancestral heritage, for some time unjustly wrested from us by our enemies; now that we have a favorable opportunity, we are merely recovering our ancestral heritage” (Maccabees 1, 15:33-34).

Let us learn from the Maccabees how to fight for Amona!.

1 Maccabees 15:33 http://www.biblestudytools.com/rsva/1-maccabees/15-33.html

33 but Simon gave him this reply: "We have neither taken foreign land nor seized foreign property, but only the inheritance of our fathers, which at one time had been unjustly taken by our enemies.

I  hear you argue that this is a mute point.  After all...the Amona Community has accepted an agreement to evacuate peacefully!

It is not so simple...

Amona: A Mix Of Emotions After Agreement By Shannon Nuszen
http://5tjt.com/amona-a-mix-of-emotions-after-agreement/

The kids are furious at their parents!
For Elad and Sarah, parents of six, the acceptance of the proposal was very difficult. It was a long and grueling process, but in the end the feeling was relief. They felt like they had fought a good fight, and in the end they were finally being taken seriously. For months they had been under tremendous stress over the outcome of the court decision, and for weeks they were without sleep, fearing each day they would wake up surrounded by soldiers and police ready to pull them from their homes....
The announcement that the residents of Amona had accepted the last proposal was made before Elad and Sarah could explain anything to their children. When they finally arrived home, there were no hugs and smiles. Ayana and a handful of her teenage friends were furious with them—some of them so angry that they couldn’t speak. In a fit of rage, Ayana went into her parents’ bedroom and wrote on their wall, “Eretz Yisrael—we have betrayed you!” And that explains exactly how she felt. She felt her parents had betrayed not only her but also the land of Israel as well. Again, it’s displaced anger, but righteous nonetheless. What Ayana and the rest of the children of Amona are having to endure right now is not fair, and a government that would carry out such evil needs to be reevaluated.
They know the truth...This is a very stupid plan of action!

Demolishing Amona and displacing over 40 families with over 200 kids is causing and will cause these families terrible trauma.... but even more tragic than this is that it is a terrible Chillul Hashem! It will create a hard to remove black blemish on the GOI (Government of Israel).

With this precedent, many other communities are at risk of destruction. If the past is any indication, take for example the Gush Katif expulsion, there is good reason to believe that this atrocity will provoke increased acts of terror even rockets,  a generation of kids at risk, emotional turmoil, unemployment, and a dependency of families now becoming dependent on government social welfare rather staying economically independent.

It is a useless drain and terrible waste of time, money and resources to demolish and rebuild homes for no good reason. To add insult to injury it will be coupled most certainly with great satisfaction and celebration by enemies of Israel for an unearned victory of destruction of Jewish Settlement  executed and paid for by the hands of a Jewish government who has become their useful idiot!!!

This senseless demolition of Jewish homes brings absolutely no benefit to anyone...

Not to any Arab who is even being compensated or receiving benefit...

Not even to the Israel Supreme Court who is pushing this agenda.  They will not reap benefit.  They will ultimately suffer the most.

It will serve to raise distrust, deepen the anger and resentment against a self appointing corrupt Israel Supreme Court and the Israeli Judicial system.  Even if they "win" this battle they will have lost credibility and respect of the nation at large..

This does not even bring into play the Divine retribution of being a G-dless court of law.

This betrayal by fellow Jews, who execute the destruction of Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria to advance the so called Peace Process and pave the way to a 2 State Solution annuls fundamental Torah teachings  that Bible believers have instilled in their offspring for eternity.

The timing is such that it will strengthen the immoral justification of a UN Resolution that condemns Jewish Settlement in Judea and Samaria and denies any Jewish claim to East Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.

This all translates into CHILLUL HASHEM a desecration of G-d's H-ly Name!

Alternatively, repealing the Israel's Supreme Courts decision to demolish any existing homes in Amona and deciding to build those extra homes on the other side of the hill to expand Jewish Settlement will do the opposite.

That is the ONLY type of response Israel should have at the moment!

Fwd: Sore losers by Mike Huckabee on Harassment of Ivanka and Jared Kushner on JetBlue

The message you have just received was delivered by Mike Huckabee and includes a message from Huck PAC, his political action committee.

Robin,

The ugly, rude intolerance of the left was on full display yesterday, when Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner were verbally assaulted (to use the term the left would use if one of theirs had been the target) by a passenger on a JetBlue flight. They were traveling in coach with their three small children when this cretin made a public spectacle of himself by attacking Ivanka's father and accusing her of ruining their flight. The man (who was setting a great example for his own child) was removed from the plane, and immediately whined that his rights were being violated.

The bully and his defenders tried to claim he had just been exercising his free speech rights to "question" Ivanka, but that was disproven by his same-sex spouse's earlier Tweet that the two saw the "evil" couple in the airport and chased after them to "harass" them. He quickly deleted his Twitter account, but the cat was already out of the bag. By their own admission, this was deliberate, premeditated harassment.

I'm getting weary of having to write about sore loser liberals behaving like terrible two-year-olds, so instead of wasting any pixels on this couple's obnoxious behavior toward anyone whose politics vary a whit from theirs (which, as you'll see at the link, is a longstanding habit), I'll point you to this PJ Media examination of the ways various news outlets covered the story on social media. They ranged from telling the truth, to trying to shade the truth to make the aggressor look better, to outright falsification to make him sound like the innocent victim. Want to know where "fake news" comes from? Read this and see how the liberal media make their sausage. I especially enjoyed the last paragraph.

One more note: the intolerant liberal also demanded to know, "Why is she on our flight? She should be flying private." Of course, if she had, she would have been called a rich elitist. But the fact that Ivanka and her family were traveling coach on JetBlue shows that they don't live in a bubble of privilege and she understands the value of money. Sounds like somebody raised her right.

Sincerely,

Mike Huckabee

Leftist Artists Attack Ivanka Trump

By Mike Huckabee

Some leftist "artists" are demanding that Ivanka Trump take down their art that hangs on her walls because they don't want to be associated with her. They call her a hypocrite, apparently not being clear on the meaning of that term, since they want to make a big show of demanding that she not display art that they willingly took her money to sell to her.

I realize from some of the quotes that I'm not dealing with very mature or well-informed people, so I'll try to make this primer on capitalism as simple as I can: Once you decide to sell your creation to someone else, you give up the right to tell them what to do with it. Ivanka can put your art on her walls or in her fireplace. It's up to her. It's hers now. If you'd wanted to maintain control over who could see your art, you should have kept it locked in your bedroom. The same goes for liberal rock stars who declare that they don't want Republicans listening to their music. The day you signed that ASCAP contract, you traded away the right to dictate who's allowed to buy your records. You want to have total control over your creative works and keep them away from people you disagree with politically, but you also want to take their money for them. That's what "hypocrisy" is all about, Charlie Brown.

Besides, I thought artists created art so that they could share their creativity and spread their ideas to the world. What is the point of sharing ideas with people who already have the exact same ideas as you do? I write books, but I don't keep the manuscripts locked in my safe. I want to sell as many copies as I can, and if any liberals want to buy a copy, I'm thrilled to see them read it and happy to take their money (I'll need to see an ID before I take a check, though).

If I saw a photo of, say, Hillary Clinton's bookshelf and spotted a copy of "God, Guns, Grits and Gravy," I'd be glad to know that she was getting a different point of view on what working Americans in "flyover country" are actually like. Of course, I've never seen such a photo, and I doubt that she's ever read that book. If she had, she might have spent more time in Michigan than with Wall Street bankers and Hollywood stars, and not promised to put coal miners out of work, and actually won the election.

A Permanent Attitude Change

By Mike Huckabee

Every day until Christmas, I'm recounting " Simple Christmas " stories shared with me a few years ago by my radio listeners. One thing we all learned from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" is that it's not how fancy your tree is that matters, it's the love it represents. A radio listener of mine named Vicky from California sent me a beautiful story that illustrates that as well as Charles M. Schultz did. If you like this story please leave me a comment on my website here.

Vicky recalled a time years before, when her young family was desperately poor and struggling to provide Christmas for their three small children. Her husband brought home a tree, but after working 14 hours, he hadn't noticed it was dead and brown on one side.

A neighbor tried to help by giving them a little 18-inch, lighted table-top tree. Vickie thought it was so small and ugly, she began to cry at the thought that this thing would be their family's tree. Just then, her little daughter began to cry, too, and hugged her. But she was crying for a very different reason.

The little girl said in awe, "That is the most beautiful tree I have ever seen. Do we really get to have that as our tree this year?"

Vicki wrote, "I had a permanent attitude change. That night, I couldn't stop thanking our Heavenly Father enough for His blessings."

So you see, it's true: A little child shall lead them. Tomorrow, a story that reminds us Christmas is not about the getting, but the giving.

UN VOTE AGAINST ISRAEL SHAMES OBAMA

Barack Hussein Obama promised a December surprise, and he wasn't referring to his golf score. While he is vacationing in Hawaii at the U.S. taxpayer's expense, his lackeys in the United AbomiNations managed to pass a strongly worded anti-Israel resolution calling for the end of all building in Israel - including eastern Jerusalem.

Obama kept promising that he had Israel's back. We knew that meant the knife was poised to strike. As he leaves office with his inglorious and shameful record of failure, both domestically and internationally, he has managed to hurt Israel as much as possible in the international arena.

The good news is that Israel is NOT bound by the Security Council vote. The very good news is that President-elect Donald Trump, NOT Barack Hussein Obama, will be leading the U.S. voting in the U.N.  However, this anti-Israel resolution cannot be vetoed retroactively.  It cannot be reversed by a future American President.

Recognizing that the United (Arab) Nations is united against America as well as Israel, Trump should encourage the Congress to withdraw all U.S. funding to the United (Arab) Nations and, of course, to the Palestinian Authority, which still hasn't recognized Israel's right to exist in any borders. Let's see how the voting will go once the money dries up. There won't be any surprises then.

Israel must now act in its own interest. If that means withdrawing support for its neighbors in holding the forces of evil at bay, so be it.  If it means declaring sovereignty, we support that decision.

By withholding the veto, the US has now played an important card in the game plan against Israel.  Israel, we hope, still has a "Trump" card.  It may be time to use it.
