Notzrim. Evangelicals are they rooted in Shevet Ephraim of the Ten Lost Tribes?

bs"d

I find it very interesting and not coincidental that the Notzrim  (also the Hebrew Name for Christians) speak out to protect the Shomron.  The root נצר means to safeguard. In תנך Tanach, the word Notzrim is often mentioned in connection with Ephraim and the Shomron (see the prophesy of Yirmiyahu 31:6)

Can it be that these Evangelicals have their root in Shevet Ephraim whereby they accepted Christianity in the land to where they were exiled.

In any case one can not deny that in todays news, Evangelicals are proving themselves as the watchmen for the Shomron and protecting Israel's Birthright. Here is one example:

In researching this phenomenon I came across the following interesting links that address the Ten Lost Tribes and what happened to the Tribe of Ephraim.
